hey, WE'RE LIZ + ZAC
"Don't you want to make six figures a year, drive a nicer car and build your wife an in-ground pool?" his boss asked. Zac literally looked at him dumbfounded. "Liz is just going to have to understand, that this job will take 70+ hours a week, late nights and weekends to be at the top. That's how I got here. And honestly, marriage isn't really all it's cracked up to be. Don't you want that?" The next day, Zac walked into his corporate job with his two weeks notice. And that's where our story truly begins.
we had no idea how much effort building a business would require, but we were ready to take on the challenge.
Then we hit this really Pivotal moment where we wanted to just give up, but we didn't. we kept going.
We had our first really big year in 2018. We had booked more weddings than ever, shot at some amazing venues that were on our dream list, hit financial goals that were super ambitious and even booked a trip that we could only dream of a few years prior. But- we were exhausted. We missed our son. We missed family parties, and birthdays and more importantly it affected our quality of life. We were shells of ourselves and knew the hustle was worth it- but not worth it enough to burn out. We started honing in on our business, our dream couples and creating authentic connections with people who VALUED us and cared about more than just two people showing up with a nice camera. We were laser focused on creating a process and experience that would allow us to work with couples who we only dreamed of working with, and make a living without sacrificing our happiness and sanity.
That was the exact moment it all changed for us. When we started believing we could have harmony in our life & business...
We loved sharing our knowledge of how we were able to build our business; offering tips, tricks and guidance on how to not waste money on every course from every photographer you've ever admired. Take it from us, you do NOT want to buy all the things and learn from all the educators . Have you ever heard of the saying, "too many cooks in the kitchen?" This creates more confusion and can make you feel lost in your business.
We wanted to share what we had learned because we knew it could help other wedding photographers in the same boat. We hosted our very first workshop and were thrilled to even just chat with other photographers who were looking for solutions that we could offer them. Our hearts were floating as reviews started to roll in that we were helping change the trajectory of their businesses.
And now we're going to help you do the same.
We started our business with less than $2,000 to our names (yes- you read that right. total.) student loan debt more than a mortgage, 3 weddings booked for the following year and a newborn at our dining room table. We've grown into a six figure, debt free small business who wants to help you do the same. Now, let's start building your sustainable, profitable wedding photography business we both know you deserve.
can't live without
experience over everything, and
helping you find
the word "moist",
that hustle til you burnout game
